Gravats Mateu, S.L. is a Company dedicated to flat and rotary screen engraving since 1981. Located in Vilassar de Dalt, near Barcelona, in the center of an important textile business area and with installations of over 1000 m² where we design and produce vertical flat and rotary screens for textile printing.

RECILPACK TAKE BACK PROJECT - R&D PROJECT THAT CONSIDERS RETURN FOR THE RECOVERY OF ANILOX CYLINDERS USED IN PACKAGING STAMPING SO THAT THEY CAN BE REUSED
The TAKE BACK RECILPACK project has focused on addressing the environmental problem caused by the anilox cylinders used for packaging stamping, which after use become industrial waste. This problem worsens over time due to the accumulation of dry paint in the microcells of the cylinders, reducing their effectiveness in stamping. Currently, the main solution is its elimination, generating a significant environmental impact.
The project offers an innovative solution: a new recovery process by washing with pressurized water, without chemicals, which allows the cylinders to be reused without the need to re-engrave them. This initiative not only reduces the generation of waste, but also offers environmental and economic benefits, such as reducing the consumption of energy and raw materials, thus promoting the circular economy. Validated this new technology, which allows us to reduce the volume of waste generated, reduce the costs of waste management and thus promote sustainable practices and circular economy, improving at the same time the competitiveness and positioning of our company in the market.
